This is the very first time i have played with Ink. I've used the really thick goopy ink for printmaking and etching but not this stuff. It was very runny and liquidy, and fun! My professor gave us all some ink and huge pieces of paper and she told us to start with a word, and then make it was dynamic as we could. We were practicing line and seeing different ways that line can be used. And then, we were supposed to crop them down into smaller pieces, and we were supposed to find areas that would make from strong composition as small pieces of the whole.
It was so fun!
The largest image you see in the middle is actually a rather large piece of paper, maybe 18'' by 24'' size-ish? I barely cropped that one down at all cause i liked the whole thing way too much.
But the other images were cropped a lot. The image on the far right is maybe 1/4th the size of the middle, the word i used for that one was savior.
The two on the left and medium sized... the bottom one's word was my name. And the top one didn't have a word... I just started playing around.
